About the Market
Wallingford Local Producers Market runs every Saturday morning in the Regal Centre in the centre of town. The market was founded on the following principles:-
The market was started by a number of the current stallholders as a means to reach the local community. Over the years the market has grown and helped a number of local businesses start. The range of produce available is growing and each month there is a regular number of enquiries from potential new stall holders. This shows the benefit and strength of the market to the community. The produce available ranges from meat (pork, beef, lamb), fruit and vegetables, plants, bread, cheeses, wines, beers, cakes, ready prepared food, chocolate, jams, preserves, crafts including wood, knitting, jewellery, cosmetics, pottery, photography, painting, and much more. The market also runs a café so that you can get a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of home-made cake, and read the paper before or after filling up your shopping basket.
